Ignoring your DPF will result in unexpected replacement costs not only for your DPF|DOC but parts upstream as well. Your DPF serves as a garbage can for your exhaust system. The ash captured within the filter must physically be removed, which requires it to be taken off the truck and properly cleaned.

Waiting to clean your DPF|DOC until the dashboard light illuminates is a strategy that has its consequences. Sitting on the roadside waiting for a tow is a popular outcome that increase unit downtime. But the issues go far past that.
Once a filter is 50% contaminated or more you begin to lose fuel efficiency. By the time your service light comes on, around 80-85% contamination, you are losing 10% fuel efficiency or more. Add up the cost per mile, by the number of miles driven by your entire fleet and you can easily see operating costs rising.

EcoClean Filter Cleaning Program
A variety of customers have signed up to have their filters cleaned by one of our authorized cleaning locations. This includes fleets with 10 trucks to national carriers with thousands of units.
The program is based on locked in cleaning prices that includes freight costs along with new clamps and gaskets.
Locations will seed the program with a new DPF ready for installation in their parts inventory. When a DPF needs to be serviced, they install the clean unit on their shelf and send in the contaminated filter for cleaning. Once the filter is cleaned, it is returned to the original location and placed in their inventory. The next time a filter needs to be serviced, they install the clean filter and ship in the filter that needs to be cleaned.
